Review of Giallo? (2009) by Brett B — 14 Nov 2010
For Argento standards this was a miss. The man responsible for such giallo classics as Suspiria, Inferno and Deep Red (only to name a few) simply doesn't have the same effectiveness on display in this film.
The writing was sloppy and my interest sort of came in and out. It's still better than most murder thrillers that come out in theaters today, but not to the standard of excellence I've come to expect out of Dario Argento.
