Review of Gia (1998) by Nat G — 11 Jun 2010
This film was made for TV and not a cinema release, and this is one of Angelina's very first roles. I find Angelina very hit and miss, but she is amazing in this film and her acting is spot on. Altogether this is a really sad story, and knowing it is based on a real life story it makes it even more heartbreaking, even if they have got a lot of facts wrong.
It not the best constructed film but then it is a TV film, but even so they have done a good job here. Gia is not a film I will go back to very often, but you are not wasting your time if you give it a go.
If you want to see a good Angelina Jolie film this is the one to start with.
