For all the haters: You went to see a movie called "G.I. JOE" based on an 80s cartoon, and you expected a good script or realistic dialogue? What did you expect? This is a live-action cartoon.
The effects were a bit sub-par (i.e. - fake looking), but it was what I expected: two hours of dumb action and escapism.
