A cartoonish mess, but at least it makes the right move of embracing its ridiculousness. There's some good character moments throughout, and some awful ones. There's also some excellent action sequences, and some poor ones.
It's a confused, clumsy, but nonetheless entertaining ride. Enjoy it for what it is.
