Review of G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013) by Michael M — 06 Dec 2013

There's a lot wrong with this movie though it begins with such promise. First off, not sure why they got rid of Scarlett. She was smoking hot. Second, also not sure why they cast some nobody to play Flint (who was an important part of the team in the cartoon).

Third, the first movie was packed with tongue in cheek humor and this one had none of that. Finally, the scene on the side of the mountain with Snake Eyes is just ridiculous. Obviously they're setting up for the threequel, but by then I doubt anyone will care.

It's a shame too because GI Joe was like my favorite cartoon of my youth. I do like Arianne Palicki though as Lady Jaye.
