'G. I. Joe: Retaliation' is subtraction by addition; Dwayne Johnson and Bruce Willis add action star charm while a series of random feeling scenes of gunfire and explosions are loosely hemmed to a cheesecloth plot, but at least Cobra Commander was fixed.
