While the special effects and overall production value is vastly improved over the original, the story is so bad it is almost non-existent! Only a handful of the original cast bothers to return, and sadly the others are missed.
The Rock and Bruce Willis are nice additions, but they are so poorly used that it just feels disappointing. It does have a few good action sequences though,.
