Review of Ghoulies (1985) by Chip V — 28 Sep 2013
As a kid at the videostore Ghoulies was always the box that commanded my attention. It may have made me afraid to sit on a toilet. For whatever reason I did not see this until I was way older and was incredibly disappointed.
Ghoulies is a strange beast. It is a cheesefest that can be fun but it doesn't have enough scares to entertain adults and is too goofy. I am a fan of puppet creature features and Ghoulies does kind of fit that mold.
