Review of Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009) by Jared M — 09 Jul 2010
A sort of modern day Scrooge, but revolving around a womaniser.
The plot follows Scrooge, but centres on a lethario who replaces love with constant womanising, an interesting twist on the original plot, but adds nothing special.
Matthew McConaughey is unconvincing as a womaniser, and the chemistry between his character and his one true love just isn't believeable.
An interesting idea that falls short through lack of substance or ability to engage the viewer.
