Review of Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009) by Nicola G — 01 Sep 2010
A modern day Christmas Carolesque story featuring Matthew McConaughey as the proverbial Scrooge, only he's a ladies man who has left a trail of broken hearts in his wake. It will take the ghosts of his girlfriends past, present and future to make him realize that love means taking chances and it's better to live with the pain of being hurt than with regret for never trying. Along the way, he will cross paths with the woman he has been in love with since he was a kid, but ran away from.
Great cast and some funny scenes, especially involving the wedding cake. If you aren't into chick flicks, pass this one by because you definitely need a hanky at the end.
