This romcom inventively hitches it's star to Dicken's "A Christmas Carol", but instead of Scrooge, who has no love for the species of mankind, we get a stereotypical gigolo who has no love for women, and consequently refuses to ever marry.
You can plainly see then where this is going. Can they manage to spin it so that the arrival is at least entertaining? Mostly no. There are bits, but everything is telegraphed so far ahead as to make the total experience a little soul-killing.
