It has phenomenal effects for the time and a couple of laughs, but Ghostbusters ends up being a not to successful mix of the genres. Instead of going for horror parody, they went for some kind of horror comedy and it ruined the film which could have been a great comedy.
In the end, Ghostbusters is, needless to say, such an overrated movie.
