Review of Ghost Story (1981) by Sv G — 11 Sep 2008
Peter Sraub's book was marvelous - this 1981 movie version - was weak; despite the huge old Hollywood names that were in it. Still it was nice to see Melvin Douglas, Fred Astair, Douglas Fairbanks, Jr and John Houseman all together in one flick in their very advanced years - shame it just wasn't a better movie - it could have been worse -but could have been so much better.
Old gents whose guilt of something in their younger years raises a vengeful ghost in their senior years.
