What made this film stand out to me was the cinematography! Creative camera angles, objects shape-shifting in the shadows, slow reveals of creepy apparitions in close pursuit. A few subtle nods to "It Follows" (2015), "Identity" (2003), "1408" (2007); some more subtle that others.
