Review of Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2011) by Nitin V — 24 Mar 2013
This movie was one step away from being terrible at all times. It brought us to the brink over and over again, only to pull itself back with a scene from the Rider himself. It was very apparent that Nick Cage wasn't taking this movie or his role in it too seriously, and had resolved himself to either doing his scenes as an outright lunatic, or with his patented "Mega-acting".
I went into the theater expecting hammy dialogue and the Ghost Rider to blow up a bunch of stuff/set stuff on fire, and I got what I came for. Fun. Not good, but fun.
