Review of Ghost in the Shell (2017) by Richey R — 08 Jun 2017
Ghost in the Shell was just alright for me. I wasn't too impressed, but I wasn't disappointed either. The production design and visuals were stunning, but the plot was thin. I did like the philosophical undertone.
I also liked the musical score and cinematography (it played like a music video)(and the setting was similar to Blade Runner). Acting was subtle. The action sequences were great, but they were too few and far between.
A sequel just might give us more.
