I'm just here for my boy Ash Thorp. Ash, you did good man. Thorp, for those who don't know, was responsible for concept design & art direction. That includes the design of the holograms throughout the cities, the cities themselves, props such as guns and vehicles, graphic design elements in the world, etc. Check out his site, and check him on Behance! 3 stars for my boy Ash!

Otherwise, I'm not sure how the directors/producers/scriptwriters managed to eff this up so badly. The original film had a great story. The manga had a great story. Why is this film's story just a sad little fart in comparison? Honestly, all you had to do was copy the original story and make it look good. ZERO STARS for you guys. Zulch.
