Review of Ghost in the Shell (2017) by Frayta — 02 Apr 2017

I personally found it inferior to the 1995 animated movie, but overall it does much better then most western adaptions of Japanese pop culture. .

The new elements in the movie are good, and learning more about a backstory for major is an interesting pull for any Gits fan, but it doesn't entirely make up for the recreated scenes that just feel neutered by comparison...and make up more than half the film.
