Review of Ghost in the Shell (2017) by Kapten V — 08 Apr 2017
I thought Ghost in the Shell was awesome. I am not a person with a lot of history with Manga or Anime so I was not aware of the backstory when I saw it. Even still, I thought it was visually amazingly beautiful.
The design, the architectural, the city... I thought that Johansson WAS an awesome Major. On a side note, I appreciated how they did not choose to over-sexualize Johansson in this movie. She was sexy, but it was not overdone.
Her character, her struggle for her identity and her struggle to uncover the truth was the main thing in this movie.
