Review of Ghost in the Shell (2017) by Saturday_Youth — 05 Apr 2017
In my Opinion this is a very special movie with great visuals and even greater characters. The casting is perfect from Scarlett Johanson as the major over Pilou Asbæk as Batou. Michael Pitt also played his part very well and on top of that Takeshi Kitano as Aramaki who can only be awesome (look for the Outrage Trilogy) Once this culture war is over this movie will hopefully be recognized as the masterfully flick that it is.
Like once BladeRunner this movie has his way to go. And if you still think about whitewashing and those kind of buzzwords, open up youtube and search for "what Japanese think of whitewashing" and let go of that nonsense.
