Review of Ghost in the Shell (2017) by Morh A — 05 May 2017
Sadly, this is nothing but a whitewashed, shallow, cheap Hollywood moneygrab in which existential and moral aspects of Motoko's tale are brutally removed for the less intelligent audience not to loose interest in the story. The canon here was savagely raped (yes, i'm saying it consciously and deliberately) and explaining all the mistakes and inconsistencies with the common "licencia artistica", a.k.a. "we wanted to make something original", is plain bull excrements. Ghost in the Shell WAS original untill Hollywood decided to ruin it with its adaptation.
This attrocity might - and probabillity will - leave you with an unpleasant aftertaste if you're a fan of the original GitS.
