Review of Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (2004) by David N — 14 Sep 2007
Follow up to the 1996 hit "Ghost in the Shell" this movie is beautiful and fascinating--it continues to explore issues connected to cyberization and essence of being human.
Unfortunately, the dialog is 'clunky' and heavy handed, which is where this movie falls short.
Then again, I rewatched the original a short while ago and, as brilliant as it is, it suffers from similar flaws. Flaws aside, great movie!
