Review of Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (2004) by Marcus M — 22 May 2008

I kept wishing Kusanagi would magically appear throughout this film, but I barely got my wish. Just like the first, this film throws so much at us with little explanation that it is hard to follow most of the storyline. Especially since it is only available subtitled. (soon to be remedied in the blu ray edition).

I loved everything else with the film. Batou is one of my favorite anime characters and it is great to see a lot of him. I say wait for the blu ray edition so we can actually take in the visuals and listen in english.
