Review of Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (2004) by Jonny C — 25 Jan 2009
This is my favorite Ghost in the Shell movie, it's a piece of art because of the beautiful animation and the astounding music. I also feel that it deals with many interesting ideas and raises questions about ethics.
What I find the most interesting about this flick is the title "Innocence." I have watched the movie with the title in mind many times and can't help but see how some characters have lost their innocence, while others suffer from having their innocence stolen.
In my opinion, the Dog is the only example of true Innocence in the entire movie.
