Review of Ghost in the Shell (1995) by Adam G — 24 Nov 2008
Damn good animation, some well-choreographed action sequences (the foot chase at the start is epic), and some deep philosophical questions raise this above other animated films, and while it isn't as smart as it would like to think it is, it's bloody good nonetheless.
Just watch the original Japanese version - the English dubbing in some versions is completely dreadful.
