Review of Ghost in the Shell (1995) by Alessandro Z — 26 Dec 2009
The Holy Grail of the cyberpunk generations (Bladerunner, Matrix etc.) Ghost in the Shell is beautifully animated and the story is coherent and interesting. The real treat is the philosophical questions it poses and its ability to let the viewer think and answer the questions themselves without being at odds with the film.
Originated the cinematic stylistic scenes used in films like the Martix. Too many dismiss this movie on account it is an anime.
