Review of Ghost in the Shell (1995) by Terrence A — 07 Dec 2010
I think my dad has good taste on manga & anime films. I enjoyed this one, very MATRIX style, even if I saw some episodes years ago (don't remember where).
Plot: It has an incredible story telling that goes like this: There is a hacker in town, known as Puppet Master. What are his real reasons? Will the cyborg Motoko help on this mission? Will she get to know who she really is? Some stars here totally.
Voice Overs: I did not saw this film on his natal language neither in english, but yes I did on 'castellano' (accent used on Spain only). It was stunning, incredible and I adore those voice overs a lot. Some stars here for the genius work they all did.
Music: Dramatic, intense, very aria style, with some amazing chorus in it. I must admit, this score is out of league. I love it. Some stars here too.
To end this short review, 4 stars of 5. I'm not a technological women, neither a fan of this world, but still, is inspiring and somehow incredibly stunning. To bad machines cannot control themselves without us, and to bad we can put a stop to it's madness :) Enjoy my review and HASTA LA PROXIMA!
