Japanese animation with a deep philosophical undertone, cyborg agents investigate a hacker called the Puppet Master, which leads them into a journey that stirs up some unsettling implications about the human soul and the definition of consciousness.
Simply stated, when biology and technology becomes intertwined where does consciousness begin and the soul end? Several questions like these get brought up during the movie.
