Review of Ghost in the Shell (1995) by Ian F — 15 Nov 2013
To begin, I'm just not an anime fan; never have, never will.
That said I can appreciate what is being said (underneath the main story) as well as the fact it is quite smart.
However, why so violent? Why so naked? Why so senseless even though it is smart? It just seems to be in excess and overall, I don't buy it and I don't like it. It just as a whole, bothers me! I'll never get past that.
Plus the style bothers me.
