Review of Ghost in the Shell (1995) by Yannick D — 21 Feb 2015
Watching this movie feels like a spiritual experience. This movie manages to tackle themes that many other films have attempted to. Among those themes are hat it means to be human, identity and reality.
However I feel like those other films, such as the matrix and inception, never really managed to reach the same depth as Ghost In The Shell. The plot is a bit complicated so a second viewing is definitely in order.
Mystery, action and existentialism tied together by beautiful animation. This film is a must see.
