Review of Ghost in the Shell (1995) by Denislav R — 30 Mar 2017
The most confusing movie I love. Like, it's really confusing at times. I loved it. I watched, because I wanted to see the source material for the new live-action remake, and I just realised how high this movie raised the bar for me.
It's a really good movie. The pacing is kinda strange, but it fits surprisingly well. I loved the characters, the univers, I loved everything about this movie. I want more of it. I am actually sensing a pattern here.
Lately every good film I've seen just feels way too short. When I got to the end of this movie, I was like "That can't be it, right? Right?" It honestly felt like I was just getting to the climax of the story and there is just as much left.
