I wasn't really expecting much, but was very pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere and cinematography. I loved how the many different cultures blended together. The music held the many different pieces together rather well also.
If you like the directorial style check out Coffee and Cigarettes, also by Jim Jarmusch.
