This is without a doubt my favourite movie.
This movie has some very good action scenes and a very original story. The plot revolves mostly around the hakagure (The way of the samurai, which is definitely worth reading).
Basically, ghost dog (Forrest Whitaker) is saved by Louie (John Thormey). He then becomes his vassal, becauuse according to the way of the samurai, his life belongs to Louie now. In the movie Ghost dog gets an elimination contract, and things don't go as planned. I'm not going to give more away. During the whole movie the scenes are accompanied by quotes and sayings from the hakagure and music by RZA.
Simply put:
Very solid cast;.
Original story and good action scenes;.
The soundtrack RZA;.
A must see for people interested in samurai and the whole samurai culture.i.
