Review of Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (1999) by Ol R — 03 Apr 2012
Minimalism, samurai-ethics and east coast hip-hop combine to make this one of Jarmusch's more action packed films. Forest Whitaker does fantastic in the lead, and the soundtrack courtesy of the RZA seal the atmospheric, open-ended nature of the film.
Deserves more watches, not his best, but still really good.
