Review of Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (1999) by Juyeop S — 31 Jul 2012
This somewhat bizarre melding of genres of gangster & samurai film is enjoyable. At times conforming to & other time deviating from the hollywood generic formulas. Forrest Whitaker is great as always.
Love all the intercutting with cartoons on tv. Cheesy at times & the fade out cuts are a bit annoying. Good music by the Rza.
