Review of Getaway (2013) by Sol C — 17 May 2014
This film crashes and burns. It is a big wreck. It needs a major rewrite. Selena Gomez is miscast. At times, she was annoying in the film. Ethan Hawke and Jon Voight try to make this film work the best they can.
The film reminded me of movies like Speed, Transporter movies, and Joyride. Those films were much better than this one. The editing in the film is terrible. There is a lot of loopholes in the story.
