Review of Get Smart (2008) by Chris K — 23 Jul 2011
From a movie standpoint, Get Smart is 4 stars. But looking as it is a comedy, Get Smart is a 5 Star comedy. I've seen this film countless times, but it is still hilarious. Situational comedy is the best kind of comedy, and Get Smart is filled to the brim with it.
It takes a great cast to make a comedy issue laughs, and Steve Carell is the perfect man for the job. His sensational one-liners and gags are too funny. He is just that perfect goofball character.
Get Smart isn't the perfect film, but it is one of my personal favorites comedies. It is wickedly funny and produces endless laughs.
