Rene Russo overkilled the deadpan demeanor, but otherwise Get Shorty has a cast of decidedly excellent performances. John Travolta is impeccably stylish as Chili Palmer in every scene, and especially Dennis Farina's Ray Bones, who is by far one of the most lovably entertaining villains of all time!
