Thankfully, they retained much of Elmore Leonard's original dialogue and style, or this might have been just another movie. Some shortcomings in direction are saved by the writing (respectful of Leonard's characters) and the great cast.
This and "Pulp Fiction" were a welcome one-two punch comeback for Travolta.
