Review of Get Out (2017) by Katherine K — 02 Jun 2018
This movie is nearly identical to The Skeleton Key throughout the entire story, yeah it was nominated for most original screenplay. And in the end, none of the beginning theme of subtle racism even amounted to anything relevant to the ending.
It just trailed off into typical horror movie plot of the main character running away to escape the psychotic villains. It was an okay movie, but way overrated and certainly not deserving of a most original screenplay award.
