It isn't a very good comedy but it is dark and it is well made and well acted. As usual, many things don't make sense especially some of the twists but that doesn't matter much. The distrust between the races theme is extremely well done even if it is extreme.
The story isn't great but the direction and photography are excellent. Most white people have a lot of fear of black men and this film may shock people into some serious thinking about the other side of the coin.
Until the 60s, black men could be killed and black women could be raped in the South and sometimes elsewhere with very little chance that the perpetrators would face justice. And many innocent blacks were prosecuted and sentenced throughout our history for all sorts of crimes.
Bravo for the people who made this film.
