Review of Get Out (2017) by Gabrielle W — 31 Dec 2017

A couple of twists in the story were unexpected, but nothing to rave about. I really wanted to like this movie, but it was dull and I agree with some other audience members who mentioned that it should be removed from the "horror" category; my reasoning is the attempt at adding comedy where unnecessary and, in fact, distracting.

I do not think it deserving of the hype and critical acclaim.
