This quirky remake of "the Stepford wives" really held my attention and interest until it went off the rails.
This was such a deeply excellent movie about racism and attitudes and culture that for it to turn into a cheap bloody horror movie was a shame.
What could have been Hitchcock was only Wes Craven.
