Review of Get Out (2017) by Benjamin S — 16 Nov 2017
Jordan Peele has taken the casual racism of middle class white America and created a unique and very unnerving horror film. This isn't a horror that will have you jumping out of your seat or covering your eyes as gore splatters across the screen, instead we have something a whole lot more unsettling as an initially friendly and welcoming family turns out to be a whole lot more sinister when welcoming their daughter's new boyfriend into the fold.
I enjoyed this greatly, it's both satire and horror blended perfectly.
