I have to admit, I never was a huge James Brown fan, but upon seeing this movie, I'm singing a different tune!! I've learned that there is definitely so much more to him as a person/artist that I never knew; I have a new found respect.
The acting was stupendous. Chadwick Boseman did an awesome job portraying the Godfather of Soul; I loved seeing Nelson Ellis playing a character other than Lafayette from True Blood. I just loved it!!
