Review of Get On Up (2014) by Devin C — 22 Aug 2014
Chadwick Boseman's performance was truly the 'star' of this film. There were a couple pacing issues toward the middle of the film, but any flaws this movie had were eclipsed by super strong performances by all of the actors and actresses, but especially Boseman.
He, without a doubt, deserves an Oscar nomination for his portrayal of the enigmatic Godfather of Soul, James Brown!
