This movie gives the multidimensional view of James Brown, a boy and a man, a surviver of abandonment, neglect and Jim Crow. Never was I more intrigued by an actor playing the part of a legend and a genius.
The image of James Brown is very human and respectfully done well and tells his story as if he told us his side of all the negative press ever told about him.
