Terrible. Quick cuts of Brown's life along with the portraying him with a monster ego made us hate him half way through the film. The white devil, honky's cant dance/rock, and other race bait scenes alienated a large chunk of the audience.
The child gladiators scene was a mixed message, be disgusted by the actions but root him on to win in the end. Terrible film that was an endurance test for me.
