Review of Get Low (2010) by Chad-Poop G — 01 Mar 2011
Get Low may be one of the best over looked movies of the year. The story is unique talking about it would ruin the flow of the exposition for first time viewers. It combines "Of Mice and Men"-1992 world with "Nobody's Fool"-1994 small town feel.
Duvals role is extremely understated. Excluding the last 15 minutes you really learn about him through the eyes of others. Lucas Black Bill Murray and Sissy Spacek are the audiences access to Duvall's character.
Each has a differing perspective of the man and the audience is left to weigh it out for themselves. I cannot give a high recommendation for a movie.
