Get Low is a touching character drama that's both fun and entertaining. Inspired by a true story, the film follows an old hermit who turns to a shifty funeral director in order to put on a funeral party so that he can set things right before he dies.
Robert Duvall, Bill Murray, and Sissy Spacek all give excellent performances; especially Duvall. The film is well crafted and is able to maintain suspense and mystery as the story unfolds. Get Low is a powerful and engrossing film about redemption and forgiveness.
